Database Design and Development - Washington Metro Area

Implement relational database from fair to complex business requirement.

Ability to understand and extract valuable information needed to created database entities and relationships between entities to meet business requirements.

Ability to make changes to existing database schema to allow for growth and new business requirement.
 

Collaborate with Software Engineers, Administrators and external teams on continuous basis to design and deliver database solutions that meet UI development for new and existing Software applications.

Responsibility:

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of database design, data models, configurations and processes

• Database Development and optimization

• Write simple to complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and script to support application development in both SQL Server and Oracle environment.

• Optimize performance through indexing, SQL query optimization, and other database tuning techniques

• Monitor database performance metrics, analyze, and identify bottlenecks, and recommend short-term and long-term solutions

• Implement and manage database security, including access controls, encryption, and auditing.​
